  • Overview

Newfoundland Ponies are little work horses used in Newfoundland outports during the fall and winter. In the summer they are given a break and permitted to roam free.

One of these ponies, Kit, is suspected of breaking into vegetable gardens and eating the tops of turnips. As the community attempts to discover the culprit (with hilarious consequences), seven year old Anna, who owns the pony in question, gains new insights into what makes adults, and Newfoundland ponies, tick.
