There’s no room for Nat’s polar bear in her house. It seems there’s no space for him anywhere. On a class trip to The Rooms in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Nat wonders if they’ll let Bear in. But the museum has room for all sorts of fun and maybe even a bear—or two!
Double Trouble at The Rooms
Lisa Dalrymple is the author of A Moose Goes A-Mummering and many other books for children. Skink on the Brink was the winner of SCBWI’s 2014 Crystal Kite Award for Canada and of The Writers’ Union of Canada’s 2011 Writing for Children Award. Lisa has an MA in Literature and Creative Writing and has published poetry, stories, and regular reviews for Canadian Children’s Book News.
Outside of writing, Lisa’s passions are working with children and travelling. She has lived in England, Scotland and Canada; taught kindergarten in South Korea and Thailand; and travelled throughout Europe, Asia and Peru. She now lives in Fergus, Ontario with her husband and their 3 highly-energetic children.
Elizabeth Pratt is a Visual Artist from St. John’s Newfoundland. She attended the New Brunswick College of Craft & Design in Fredericton. Her previous illustrated works include, The Jelly Bean Row (Creative, 2011) and If it’s no Trouble…A Big Polar Bear (Creative, 2012), A Bubbly Troubly Polar Bear (Creative, 2013).
