THE BURNING ROCK COLLECTIVE
Some members of The Burning Rock Collective whose stories appear in Hearts Larry Broke are:
Ramona Dearing is from St. John's. "Love Bites & Little Spanks" was published in Oberon's Best Canadian Short Stories in 1997. Another of her stories appeared in the same anthology the following year. She's also had poetry published in The Fiddlehead.
D.J. Eastwood, known as Jack, has published poetry, fiction and drama over the past fifteen years. Born in Alberta, he moved to Newfoundland to maintain the balance in the flow of people between the two provinces. Presently, he works at carpentry, cabinet and art making, and is slowly completing a first novel. Generally, he lives up to the "Jack-of-all" title that seems to dog his heels.
